This circa 1980 goldtone Star of David pendant was made in support of Russian Jews who refused to give up their religion in the USSR under Communism. The large star says...LET MY PEOPLE GO and shows the Star of David chained by the hammer and cycle emblem of the USSR. This signed PEYOTE BIRD multi-strand necklace with matching earrings is an estate piece that came from the Sundance catalog. Still unused in its original tapestry covered box, this vintage Mah Jong set is a nice one that came from a high-end estate. The tiles are made of wood and bone and the tile tops are hand carved and painted. Set comes with all the sticks to designate number of points, dice, etc. and the DIRECTIONS booklet. These are wonderful old composition dolls, circa 1930s. The pair are dressed in what looks like ethnic Mexican style clothes. He's wearing a big straw sombrero with native suit (slightly faded). She's wearing a sparkled skirt. Their faces are hand-painted as are the shoes/socks. The dolls are jointed at shoulders and hips. They measure 8 inches high. A few minor nicks to paint/shoe tips but overall, these are in excellent vintage condition. Very bright, colorful and old.

This is an incredible antique ethnic necklace...handmade of silver and foil-backed glass with old coins dangling down. The necklace is choker style with the beads and pieces sewn onto a leather strap that's backed with cloth. An antique Birmingham (England) Victorian brass button is the closure. These original GOLLIWOG (or Goliwog) tin lithographed pinbacks were made to promote GOLDEN SHRED, an English jam. These were among the last giveaways made by the company. The pins measure 1-inch across and come in blue, white, red and yellow. The Golliwog character is similar to the old Sambo...maybe even inspired by him. The lot of pins are in excellent condition.

It's big!...2 7/8 by 3 1/2 inches. This vintage signed VENDOME pin is Asian-inspired and very impressive. The goldtone openwork frame holds a carved-through piece of faux jade that's actually genuine Bakelite. The pin on the back was either added, repaired or manufactured with silver solder but in any case, the pin is secure with a safety-catch closure.
