This gorgeous necklace is jet black beads on a 3-strand wired wraparound choker that fits comfortably on the average neck. The outstanding centerpiece is made of facet-cut opalescent glass, wrapped with silver wire to the choker. In the center is a baroque pearl. The center flower measures 2 inches across. It picks up every color in a subtle way...really beautiful. The choker itself measures 5/8 inch wide. Necklace is in perfect condition.

This spectacular necklace is by Kenneth Jay Lane, made for Avon in the 1980s. The necklace features various shaped cabochons of faux (plastic) emerald, ruby, sapphire and fuchsia stones. Old and original, this spectacular Art Deco necklace is from the 1930's. This unique necklace is marked U.S. ZONE GERMANY which dates it between 1946 to 1949. The design falls somewhere between art deco and modernist with curved dangles that remind me of a Calder mobile. The goldtone metal links are solid. Necklace measures 14 to 16 inches, depending on where you clasp it. Each hinged dangle measures 1 1/4 inches high. Necklace is marked on the end link. Will buff up to a brighter shine if that's your preference but original patina is nice.
