One look at this original Victorian brooch and the word 'ethereal' comes to mind. It's hand-painted with a light, delicate touch. The porcelain background has a spray of periwinkle blue, white and pink flowers along the side and a cloud-like space to dream in. The porcelain is prong-mounted on a brass backing. Original old 'C' closure. Pin measures 1 3/4 inches across by 2 1/8 inches high. The brass back has a nicely aged patina. Overall, pin is in excellent condition.

This great old Lucite pin features reverse carved and hand-painted tulips...one yellow and one red. They're blooming out of long green leaves that'll make you think it's spring even when it isn't. Here's a great example of old 1930's genuine carved Bakelite in a color that's hard to find...black. This pin is heavily carved with thick-petaled roses in an openwork carved-through design. It's a big one...3 1/4 by 2 inches and 1/4 inch thick! Back has the original imbedded 2-piece pinback with safety-catch closure. Pin is in excellent condition. This fabulous old, original Bakelite BOW pin is reverse carved and hand-painted on both front and back. The back is carved with stripes that are painted black. The front is carved with loads of dots in the center and around edges. The Bakelite color is applejuice. Pin measures 3 1/8 inches across by 1 3/8 inches high. Safety-catch closure. This beauty is in superb condition.

This modernistic vintage Scandinavian pin is an abstract yellow-green (chartreuse) guilloche enamel on sterling silver. Marked 925S STERLING - NORWAY with artist's 'X' mark in a circle.
