This original rare 1960s promotional photo for THE LEFT BANKE was issued by Smash Records. The group was best known for their hit 'Walk Away Renee' which was later recorded by the Four Tops. They also had a hit with 'Pretty Ballerina'. The group members were Tom Finn on bass guitar, lead singer Steve Martin, drummer George Cameron, and lead guitarist Rick Brand. This 1935 song book features 52 of his songs...some of which he'd written for Gene Autry who discovered him. In addition to words and music, this book is illustrated with art and film strips of movie scenes. The 66-page song book measures 9 by 12 inches. Cover is loose but overall it's in very good+ condition.

Here's an unusual piece of sheet music from 1938. Titled...AT A PERFUME COUNTER ON THE RUE DE LA PAIX, graphics show an art deco era woman sniffing a bottle of French perfume. A big bottle is also shown. This song came from Billy Rose's Casa Manana and was introduced by Morton Downey and Wini Shaw. Some wear/creases to edges but overall in very good condition. Nice to frame up for you perfume bottle collection.

This original 1928 sheet music has a great art deco cover, representing the start of the Jazz age. This Denton & Haskins EDITION MODERNIQUE OF HOT PIANO SOLOS is titled TURQUOISE. They list some of their other titles on the front. Silhouettes of the piano player and some swinging dancers. We like their tag line...'You can't blow 'em cold'. Music is unused, in near-mint condition.
