This lot of original vintage 1940s-1950s postcards feature African-Americans back in the days when they were called blacks, Negroes and 'colored folks'. These are all linen-finish postcards that have never been used. Two of the cards are captioned 'Uncle Tom...an old-fashioned Southern Negro', and 'Old Black Joe'.
