Here's a beautiful vintage handbag made by WHITING & DAVIS. It's metallic silver mesh with a double chain handle that can go long to wear over the shoulder. This has a novel opening...pulls apart and stays securely closed. Purse measures 9 3/4 across by 8 1/2 inches high. Inside is lined in black satiny fabric with a side compartment. Whiting & Davis tag inside. It's in excellent condition.

Not a remake...this is an original late 1960's telephone - address book with an anti-war protest PEACE symbol all over the cover. During the Vietnam era, those against the war could buy almost anything with the peace sign on it to let their sentiments be known. This black and white phone book measures just over 12 inches high by 3 3/4 inches across. It's in unused, near-mint condition with plenty of room inside for listing all of your peace-loving friends.

Here's a great vintage Scandinavian design ring...abstract and modernistic...very unique! Inside is marked 925-S NORWAY and then on the outside band, there are 2 tiny hallmarks that indicate 3 crowns and the letter ~S~ which stands for Sweden. The ring has an adjustable band which is brilliantly designed to look like a solid band. Top measures 7/8 inch wide. Ring is in excellent condition.

NOT reprints...these are original space flight promotional photos from ORBIT COVERS. They did the engraved stamp cachets for various space flights and these promo photos show some of their work. Included in the lot are...Gemini Titan II, Apollo-7 Saturn, Apollo 12 and Apollo 14. The black and white glossy photos measure 8 by 10 inches except for the Gemini which appears to be slightly trimmed at top and bottom. Some corner creasing...pinholes at top on the latter photo...

NOT A REPRINT...this is an original 1930's lithographed calendar print by Mabel Rollins Harris....marked at right. The long-haired redhead nude is striking against the black background. Print measures 12 by 16 inches. The print has a very soft fold near the top that isn't noticeable. Overall, poster is in excellent, unused condition. We bought this from an old print shop on Broadway in 1969...they were going out of business just as we were opening up our antique shop across the street...

I'm not sure if you'd call these machine age, space age or Eames era candle holders but they're vintage and have a great look. Made of aluminum, these are hefty and well designed. No markings but the clean, simple lines have the look of Scandinavian makers. The candlesticks measure 3 1/4 inches high by 3 3/4 inches across the base. Just a tiny bit of pink wax at the inside bottom says they were used but overall, condition is excellent.

This fabulous vintage demi parure...a pin and bracelet set...is signed ORIGINAL BY ROBERT. 'Robert' was Robert Levy who in 1949, founded Robert Originals, making dramatic jewelry for the theatrical and Hollywood trade. He was a bit theatrical himself, often playing the violin while his customers shopped in his showroom. This set is worthy of a showroom and violin. The bracelet and pin are enamel painted in orange on gold-tone...

This original 1968 Peter Max vinyl blow-up pillow has psychedelic graphics that include a big colorful butterfly. It's made up of faces...very 1960s and classic Peter Max. Design is on both sides with the PETER MAX logo at the bottom. Pillow measures 16 x 16 inches. This is old warehouse stock in unused, excellent condition. 38 years later...it's still 'groovy'.

This vintage pillbox hat is made of soft, lustrous black mink tails. The inside is lined. There's no label but inside band measures 20 inches around...perfect for a petite size. Fur is supple, soft and shiny. Hat is in excellent condition. Genuine fur is the rage of the runways this season... this hat will compliment any outfit.

Old and original, this genuine Egyptian Revival necklace is from the 1920's Art Deco Period. The Egyptian motif became wildly popular after the discovery of the tomb of King Tutankhamun in 1922... especially in jewelry since renowned jewelers like Van Cleef and Arpels jumped on the exotic genre. This necklace is a period piece, made of stamped brass floral panels on a double chain. These are attached to the centerpiece...a brass filigree frame set with a blue glass Egyptian cameo...

Pass the sauce or gravy in mid-century style with this great silver-plated ladle marked...TH. (for Thorvald) MARTHINSEN - NORWAY. The stem design is classic Scandinavian. Ladle measures 6 inches and is in excellent condition.

This vintage 1930's genuine Bakelite dress clip is a great olive drab green color. Clip has carved diagonal lines across and an angled bottom edge. Measures 3/4 inch across by 3 inches high. Secure clip on back. Excellent condition.
