These 2 old product cartons were made by the Baltimore Butterine Co. and were never used. One is marked GOLD TINT For Frying and Shortening. The other was made to hold a pound of VITA OLEOMARGARINE. Both cartons are still flattened and each is waxed which is how the product stayed fresh. These measure 10 1/2 by 11 3/4 as they are but can be folded into boxes for display. Great old advertising products for a country store or a country kitchen.

These 2 original vintage beer advertising pinbacks are at least from the 1950s, maybe earlier. One advertises NATIONAL PREMIUM...THE TRUE PILSNER and has the Mr. Pilsner logo in the center...marked National Brewing Co. - Baltimore Md. on the rim. The other says...WE SERVE KAIER'S SPECIAL BEER-ALE-PORTER....Kaier Brewing Co. - Mahonoy City, Pa. These pins measure 1 1/4 inches across and are both in excellent condition.

These 3 Black Americana hair product tins are circa 1940...all unused and empty. The small sample tin is for SWEET GEORGIA BROWN HAIR DRESSING POMADE and measures 1 1/8 inches across. Colorful red, yellow and black tins for LUCKY BROWN include Pressing Oil...featuring a smiling black woman with half her hair curly and the other half straight. Measures 2 3/4 inches across top by 1 inch high...

These original GOLLIWOG (or Goliwog) tin lithographed pinbacks were made to promote GOLDEN SHRED, an English jam. These were among the last giveaways made by the company. The pins measure 1-inch across and come in blue, white, red and yellow. The Golliwog character is similar to the old Sambo...maybe even inspired by him. The lot of pins are in excellent condition.

This lot of 3 vintage matchbooks are souvenirs of the defunct Pan American Airlines. These are circa 1957-1958...one of the backs has a pocket calendar for those years. One matchbook advertises the CLIPPER CARGO service. The other 2 show artistic illustrations for destinations...New Zealand and Tahiti. The matches are gone but the matchbooks are in excellent condition.

This old, original 1920s BAB TABLETS lithographed tin makes some big promises...'Will restore and strenghten your voice...unequalled for weak or diseased throats'. The back copy adds...'Bab is an efficient remedy in case of Laryngitis, Pharyngitis and Loss of Voice'. Tin measures 4 1/8 by 2 1/2 by 5/8 inches. Made by Springfield Medicine Co. Springfield, Mass. Black lettering on salmon-colored tin. Never used, excellent condition.

Here's an original 1930s two-sided cardboard sign for MARTIN SODAS. One side advertises MARTIN DELICIOUS SODAS - CREEMI CREAM, CREEMI ROOT BEER and CREEMI SARSAPARILLA - 5c. The other side is for MARTIN FRESH FRUIT SODA. Both sides show a bottle and the line...LABORATORY TESTED FOR YOU AND YOURS. Sign measures 11 by 14 inches. Marked at corner...'Gun Hill Printing Service - Broadway - New York'. Overall, sign is unused and in excellent condition.

In 1950, you could send in your photo, 25 cents and a Nabisco Shredded Wheat Box Top to get this STRAIGHT ARROW gold nugget Picture Ring. They'd superimpose your photo to look like you were in there with Straight Arrow and his palomino horse, Fury, in the secret golden cave. This ring doesn't have a photo inside...just the lens. Words STRAIGHT and ARROW are engraved around the ring. This is slightly adjustable...measures 7.5. Ring is gold-dipped. This was left over after the 1950 promotion...

Never used, this original Victorian era HURLEY'S MORE HAIR TONIC box is still flat and in its original condition. Box front shows illustration of a woman...half bald, half flowing tresses. Box copy claims that product promotes hair growth and removes dandruff...'the chief cause of the hair falling out'. Box also claims that Hurley's is 'INDORSED (sic) BY PHYSICIANS AND HIGH-CLASS HAIR DRESSERS' (beware of those dreaded low-class ones.)...

Author Mark Twain was so well liked, he rated a cigar named after him and this original circa 1910 cigar box label which says...'Known to Everyone - Liked by All'. It's a great embossed lithograph showing the wise Twain with scenes from some of his well-known books...looks like Huck Finn and/or Tom Sawyer. Label measures 9 by 7 inches and is in near-mint, unused condition.

Here's a great original vintage cardboard advertising sign for FAIRBANKS GOLD DUST WASHING POWDER - LEVER BROTHERS COMPANY. This is circa 1940s when Levers was still selling this product to Latin American countries. Sign measures 7 1/2 by 10 1/2 inches and is made of sturdy cardboard that has 2 punch holes near the top where a string was put for hanging. Shows the classic GOLD DUST black twins logo. Very slight wear to corners. Sign was never used and is in excellent condition.

This original 1945 Ward's Tip-Top Bread blotter is also a calendar. It shows all the months around the loaves of bread. Blotter measures 8 1/2 by 3 3/4 inches. A light water stain shows up on the back. Slight corner wear but overall in very good condition. Nice old premium item.
