There are 2 tiny nicks to the paint that are negligible but mentioned for accuracy. Bracelet has a secure slide-in clasp and a safety chain as well. Back is clean with no signs of wear. This magnificent sterling silver and abalone necklace was hand wrought in Taxco Mexico before 1948, by the coveted silversmith BETO. The necklace has a classic design that was popular with the Taxco artisans of the era. The scrolled links are alternated with natural iridescent abalone shell cabochons that are bezel set in silver. The clasp is a tongue and box closure that works perfectly and closes with a crisp 'click'. Necklace measures 15 1/2 inches around by 5/8 inch wide...
