This sleek long pin of leaves is circa 1940. The vintage art deco pin was probably worn on a hat as was the fashion for this size pin. The center leaf is made of carved putty-colored celluloid while the two surrounding leaves look like stainless steel or nickel. Pin measures 4 5/8 inches long by 3/4 inch wide. Back has a 'C' closure. Pin is in excellent vintage condition. Wear it on a hat, a lapel, a purse or your jeans...anywhere you want some deco modern pizazz.

Fans of Hobe will love this vintage rhinestone pin shaped like a flower with an openwork backdrop. This old and original 1940's Sterling Silver pin is a WW II era souvenir, sold to soldiers passing through Times Square (where we bought these from the retiring store owner circa 1970). In the center of the wheel is an enameled stars and stripes emblem with anchors. We assume this is a NAVY insignia though it might be Coast Guard. Pin measures 1 5/8 inches, hanging with bow, and is still in the original box. Overall in perfect condition.

One cute old Scottie dog just isn't enough so here are TWO of them...circa 1930's and made of carved celluloid. One is coral colored...the other is maroonish. Each has a Lucite eye and a painted-on collar. These measure 1 1/2 by 7/8 inches. Backs have a 'C' closure and are marked MADE IN JAPAN. These adorable dog pins are old store stock in unused, excellent condition.

This is an unusual old dress clip...circa 1930's. It's well-made of rope-like silvertone metal with a gold wash on top. The chiseled face of a Native American Indian makes a strong centerpiece. There are 3 cabochon stones in red, green and cobalt blue. Clip back is secure and solid...this will stay where you put it. Measures 1 7/8 by 2 inches. A tiny scuff to gold face paint does not detract. This is a very solid pin. Unusual and interesting subject for an art deco era dress clip...

This great old Lucite pin features reverse carved and hand-painted tulips...one yellow and one red. They're blooming out of long green leaves that'll make you think it's spring even when it isn't.
