This is an unusual old dress clip...circa 1930's. It's well-made of rope-like silvertone metal with a gold wash on top. The chiseled face of a Native American Indian makes a strong centerpiece. There are 3 cabochon stones in red, green and cobalt blue. Clip back is secure and solid...this will stay where you put it. Measures 1 7/8 by 2 inches. A tiny scuff to gold face paint does not detract. This is a very solid pin. Unusual and interesting subject for an art deco era dress clip...
This lucky shamrock 4-leaf clover is genuine Native American. The white onyx and turquoise stones are set in sterling silver. Ring size is 6.5. There's an artist's mark inside. The shamrock measures 7/8 inch across. Ring is unpolished...in excellent condition.
Bright, light, and breezy as a day in spring, this vintage necklace features loads of white and yellow plastic daisies hanging from a celluloid chain. There's a double row of the daisy charms...each measures 7/8-inch across. The chain measures 16 inches around and has its original secure plastic ring closure. It's all in excellent condition. This necklace is circa 1940...looking just as great in 2006.
This original 1937 complete set of 12 cards show scenes from...'the new Universal's whirlwind chapter-play...WILD WEST DAYS'...starring Johnny John Mack Brown and Chief Thunderbird. The film was a 13-chapter serial full of action, gunfights, Indian raids and daring escapes as Brown played a wandering hero who helps a young couple defend their mine claim from an unscrupulous newspaper publisher. Cards measure 3 1/4 by 2 1/2 inches and have a scene description on the back...
Fans of Hobe will love this vintage rhinestone pin shaped like a flower with an openwork backdrop. The setting is pale goldtone with light and dark green rhinestones and some clear white stones too...all prong set. Pin measures 1 5/8 by 2 1/2 inches. Back has the early HOBE name in an oval. Here's a great original vintage cardboard advertising sign for FAIRBANKS GOLD DUST WASHING POWDER - LEVER BROTHERS COMPANY. This is circa 1940s when Levers was still selling this product to Latin American countries. Sign measures 7 1/2 by 10 1/2 inches and is made of sturdy cardboard that has 2 punch holes near the top where a string was put for hanging. Shows the classic GOLD DUST black twins logo. Very slight wear to corners. Sign was never used and is in excellent condition.
This neat vintage pin conjures up visions of Fred and Ginger...mostly Fred with top hat and cane, dancing the night away. This silver-tone chrome pin features a rhinestone studded top hat with a cane through it. The clear rhinestones are prong set. Pin measures 2 1/4 by 3 1/4 inches. Safety catch closure. Unsigned but certainly not unnoticed.
Here's a beautiful vintage handbag made by WHITING & DAVIS. It's metallic silver mesh with a double chain handle that can go long to wear over the shoulder. This has a novel opening...pulls apart and stays securely closed. Purse measures 9 3/4 across by 8 1/2 inches high. Inside is lined in black satiny fabric with a side compartment. Whiting & Davis tag inside. It's in excellent condition.
Yum...yum...yum. This vintage Bakelite bangle bracelet looks so good, all we need is a cherry on top. It's shades of orange with marbled swirls of chocolate. The bracelet measures 1/2 inch wide with the standard 2 1/2 inch opening. Tested, genuine old Bakelite in a great color and it's in excellent condition.

This double strand vintage necklace combines the dazzle of facet-cut crystal beads with classic faux pearls. This original 1950's ring is made with genuine BUTTERFLY WING. That's how it gets its blue-purple-pink iridescent colors. The tropical scene includes a palm tree silhouetted on the lake. Ring is silvertone metal and is adjustable. Top measures 5/8 inch across by 15/16 inch high. This is old store stock, a souvenir that was sold at beach resort areas back in the 1950's. Unworn, excellent condition.
