This lot of 3 vintage matchbooks are souvenirs of the defunct Pan American Airlines. These are circa 1957-1958...one of the backs has a pocket calendar for those years. One matchbook advertises the CLIPPER CARGO service. The other 2 show artistic illustrations for destinations...New Zealand and Tahiti. The matches are gone but the matchbooks are in excellent condition.

Just so you have no doubts as to the origin and originality of this circa 1960 DRINK COCA COLA yo-yo, we photographed the box it came out of (sorry, not for sale). Called KOOKY CAPS, the yo-yo was a giveaway...'With the purchase of a carton of Coca Cola'. Yo-yo is made of hard plastic and shaped like the famous Coke bottle cap. Measures 1 7/8 inches across and 1 1/8 inch thick. Original string. Near-mint condition.

This antique fan is made of black lacquered wood sticks that are hand-painted with a floral design on each side. Each side is different...one nicer than the other. Top of the fan is made of black fabric with gold trim paint at the edge. Fan measures 16 5/8 inches across opened up by 9 inches high. It's in excellent condition.

If you're ever awarded a medal, you'd want it to look as big and impressive as this Masonic one. It's from the 87th Annual Conclave that was held in Rochester New York in September 1900. The 3-part medal or badge is goldtone, maybe gold-plated, with enamel work on each of the parts. The bottom piece has the motto...'In Hock Signo Vinces' which means 'In this sign you will conquer'...

This early tobacco card of Billy Papke (1886-1936)...aka The Illinois Thunderbolt, came in a pack of Mecca Cigarettes, circa 1910. This was part of a 50 card series of Champion Athletes and Prizefighters. Card back gives a few boxing stats about Papke. Card measures 2 1/2 by 2 7/8 inches. Card shows very slight wear to corners but is overall in excellent clean condition with great color litho.

This old soldier is made of composition. Bottom is embossed Japan. He measures 3 3/8 inches to the top of the rifle. A few age nicks to nose/hands but overall in very good condition.

These 2 original pins are Air Force souvenirs. One is from the Air Force Academy. The other says...McGuire A.F.B. New Jersey and shows a jet plane in the center. Pins measure 1 3/4 inches across. Both are in excellent condition.

This old original Valentine Greetings card is dated 1906, published by Raphael Tuck & Sons. This was part of a series of 'insult' Valentine cards (also called 'penny dreadfuls) they made geared toward particular trades and hobbies. This one is intended for the would-be yachtsman. The lithographed illustration shows a man in his sailing clothes with telescope in hand...

This original 1972 celluloid political campaign pin says... NOTRE DAME STUDENTS FOR KENNEDY. There's a portrait of young Edward Ted Kennedy with a drawing of the Notre Dame steeple. Pin measures 1 3/4 inches across. Rim is marked with a box number, 'Campbell' and zip code. Pin has normal age tarnish on tin back but is overall in excellent condition.

This deck of Elvis Presley playing cards contains 54 different full-color photos of the King...a few of which are shown below from our own personal deck. We had the pleasure of meeting actress Teri Garr when she walked into our Greenwich Village antique shop (1969 - 1988) many years ago. It was shortly after she'd starred in the classic sci-fi movie...Close Encounters of the Third Kind. We just happened to have a set of the film trading gum cards around so she kindly signed this one for us. It says...'Love, Teri Garr'. The card is number 5 (of 22 in the set)...shows Teri in her role, trying to comfort her children...

This original early 1970s celluloid top pin says...We Want The Beatles Back. It was issued by the Pinning Co. shortly after the Beatles broke up. The great color pin measures 3 inches across and shows the Fab Four wearing their Sgt. Pepper Band outfits. The button is in near-mint condition. And yes...we STILL want the Beatles back.
