1940's WW II SWEETHEART Bracelet - Heart - Wings

This is a 'sweetheart' of a vintage bracelet in more ways than one. It's an original WW II bracelet...a gift sent by a soldier to his 'sweetheart' who could have been his wife, girlfriend, mom, sister or a friend. This bracelet is made of a silver-tone chromium-like metal. The cuff band has a heart in the center and wings on the heart. The soldier was probably an Air Force 'fly boy' who helped our country win the war. Bracelet measures 7/8 inch across the heart by 5/8 wide. Band itself is just under 1/2 inch wide. This sits very comfortably on a 6-inch (average woman's) wrist. There's slight wear to the wings but overall condition is excellent. You can tell this Sweetheart bracelet was well-treasured...and will be again.
