Antique Hand-Painted NIPPON CHOCOLATE POT Set

Here's a great treasure from a local estate. This antique hand-painted Nippon chocolate pot set consists of a chocolate pot with lid and 4 cups and saucers. Each piece is painted with a lovely scene...a house on a lake...a lush tree on the edge of the water. Colors are greens and browns on the shaded white china. The chocolate pot measures 8 1/4 inches high to top of finial by 8 inches across from spout to handle. The cups are 2 5/8 inches high by 3 inches across the top. Saucers are 5 inches across. All the pieces are in overall excellent vintage condition...set appears to be unused. There are a few minor imperfections that are inherent in the manufacturing and hand-painting process...a paint skip or an extra spot of paint. There are no chips, cracks or nicks. The pot and each saucer is marked...TE-OH CHINA - HAND PAINTED NIPPON. This set is a beauty!
