Victorian Hand Painted Porcelain Pin Brooch

One look at this original Victorian brooch and the word 'ethereal' comes to mind. It's hand-painted with a light, delicate touch. The porcelain background has a spray of periwinkle blue, white and pink flowers along the side and a cloud-like space to dream in. The porcelain is prong-mounted on a brass backing. Original old 'C' closure. Pin measures 1 3/4 inches across by 2 1/8 inches high. The brass back has a nicely aged patina. Overall, pin is in excellent condition.
