Great Vintage Turquoise - Silver ACORN Parure Set

Some acorns are for eating. Some are for growing oak trees. These are for showing off. This unique 1940's vintage parure consists of necklace, bracelet and earrings made of silver-tone metal set with faux turquoise glass acorns. These are flecked with gold and white highlights. Necklace measures 7/8-inch wide by 16 inches long but can be hooked at various choker lengths. Bracelet measures 7 inches long by 1 inch wide. The clip-back earrings are 7/8 by 1 1/4 inches. In Britain, one old tradition has it that if a woman carries an acorn on her person it will delay the ageing process and keep her forever young. If there's any truth to that folk tale, this acorn set should work wonders. It's in excellent condition.
