Vintage Bakelite Era Celluloid Sailboat Pin

Sail away, circa 1940...this unusual vintage pin features a carved celluloid sailboat set on a round metal life preserver shape. The pin is hand-painted and lightweight. Measures 2 1/8 inches across with a simple 'C' back closure. This great pin is from the Bakelite era of novelty pins...it's in excellent condition.
