1961 Civil War Centennial Confederate Flag States Plate

This vintage 1961 china plate was made to commemorate the CIVIL WAR CENTENNIAL...1861-1864 to 1961-1964. Featured are the names of the CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA... Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Texas, Arkansas, Kentucky, Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee and Missouri. The plate features a Civil War soldier, the Confederate flag, rifles and other war items. In the center is DEO VINDICE...the Latin motto that means 'God as our Defender' and was prescribed by the Confederate Congress to be on the Great Seal of the Confederacy. Plate measures 8 1/8 inches across. There are 2 holes on the back so you can hang it up. Nice gold trim. Minimal age wear...overall, plate is in excellent condition.
