This lot of 43 original political pins come from various campaigns that date from 1936 for Alfred Landon to the 1980 winning campaign of Ronald Reagan. In between, are original pinbacks for Republicans and Democrats, winners and losers...Jimmy Carter, Barry Goldwater, Eugene McCarthy, Hubert Humphrey, Richard Nixon, George Wallace, Adlai Stevenson, Lyndon B. Johnson, Thomas Dewey, Gerald Ford, Nelson Rockefeller, Wendell Willkie and there's even a 'Nobody For President' pin. This lot includes both celluloid and tin lithographed pins...some jugate pins with portraits of running mates. There's even one from Inauguration Day 1981 for Reagan - Bush (the first Bush). These pinbacks measure 3/4-inch to 2 1/4 inches across. A spot/nick or two but overall, these are all in excellent condition. Lot of 43 different pins...some rare ones.
