Vintage Taxco Hector Aguilar Sterling Silver Earrings

Any fan of vintage Mexican sterling silver jewelry will love these earrings by one of the great silversmiths from Taxco...Hector Aguilar. These screw-back earrings have a Southwest design with textured triple ropes tied in a perfect knot. Each earring is signed...one has the 1948-1955 Eagle #9 hallmark...the number originally assigned to Aguilar. The other earring is marked...940, HA (conjoined), TAXCO. Earrings measure 5/8 inch across by 1 1/4 inches high. Nicely aged patina. Excellent condition. A great example of Aguilar's talent!
