1978 Postcard Book-Close Encounters of the Third Kind

It was a jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring movie. The 1977 CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND was Steven Spielberg's first film after the blockbuster Jaws. The highly visual film presented an optimistic, magical, friendly alien encounter that shunned government intervention...and it was unlike any of the previous science fiction, alien encounter films of the past. This original 1978 souvenir POSTCARD BOOK for the film includes 48 Full-Color detachable postcards. The book and cards are printed on heavy card stock, showing scenes from the film with postcard backs. The 12 by 12 inch book was published by Prime Press. Minor wear to cover edges but overall condition is unused and excellent.
