Here's a lot of 18 original 1942 postcards. These were sold in vending machines... intended to raise morale during WWII. Cards are printed with songs on heavy cardboard stock paper with 'POST CARD' backs. They measure 3 1/4 by 5 3/8 inches. Some of the old ditties include...You're An Indian, Sally In The Shoe Shine Shop, Dixie Land, The Souse Family, Caviar, Gasoline, etc. There are some military songs like...The Infantry, and You're in the Army Now. Then, there are the drinking songs...The Old Gin Bottle, Drink 'er Down, We'll Never Get Drunk Any More, How Dry I Am, etc. All the cards are old warehouse stock in near-mint condition.
