Vintage c1940 Coro Pin - Glass Jelly Belly Big Bird

This great old pin is a triple winner...it's marked CORO. It's a jelly belly. And...it's a bird! Looks like a flamingo or ostrich. This is circa 1940, made by and marked CORO on the back. The large blue facet cut glass stone is unfoiled so you can see clear through...set in a goldtone metal. The tail feathers are enamel painted. The beak and eye are painted red. This pin measures 2 inches across by 2 3/4 inches high. As you would expect from a vintage piece, the pin shows slight wear, mostly on the center stone where you can see some tiny fleabites under magnification. Back has a secure rollover clasp. Overall, a rare, collectible classic pin by CORO.
