Huge Antique Silver Tribal Choker Necklace Coins Beads

This is an incredible antique ethnic necklace...handmade of silver and foil-backed glass with old coins dangling down. The necklace is choker style with the beads and pieces sewn onto a leather strap that's backed with cloth. An antique Birmingham (England) Victorian brass button is the closure. The necklace has some damage to one of the glass pieces at top (on the right)...this can be repaired though some might like to leave this as it is. There's a band of colorful glass beads along the top edge. Necklace measures 13 1/2 inches across...made for a small neck when women were smaller in size. Length is 6 inches long. The hand-stitched back cloth is age soiled. This was worn...maybe a ceremonial piece. I'm not sure what part of the world this is from...it came from a high-end estate with many rare antiques. I've included a close-up of one of the coins. This is unique with a primitive, tribal look...something you would see in a museum.
