Vintage New York Titans - Jets Pins w/ Football Charm

Here are 2 original vintage pins for the New York Titans (with football charm) and the New York Jets. The New York Titans football team was founded in 1960 as a charter member of the American Football League which eventually joined the NFL. In 1963, owner Sonny Werblin changed the name to the New York Jets. They acquired Joe Namath and other AFL stars to create a team that went on to achieve the greatest upset in the history of pro football, defeating the Baltimore Colts 16 - 7 in Super Bowl III. The pins measure 1 3/4 inches across. Both pins and charm are in excellent condition.
