1940s Art Deco Coro Sterling Silver Pin - Earrings Set

Classic, classy Coro. This art deco era set by the famous costume jewelry maker features large faux emerald glass stones set in vermeil sterling silver. The pin has stylized scrolling around the large stone (just short of one inch across by itself). There are 3 emerald green 'petals' hanging down. Pin measures 2 3/4 inches across by 2 1/8 inches high. Pin is marked CORO STERLING and has a secure rollover clasp. Stone looks black in the photo because it's quite thick but it's very emerald green in person. The matching earrings are screwback. They measure 5/8 inch each way. A negligible hint of wear to vermeil at lower edge of pin is not a distraction. Overall, this is a rare 1940s Coro set in beautiful condition.
