Lot Vintage 1930s Handpainted Celluloid BULLDOG Charms

Old and original...this lot of 12 hard celluloid plastic bulldog charms are all hand-painted and marked JAPAN. These were made before WW II...late 1930s...and were intended to be hung from school/college pins among other things. These, in fact, represented Yale...the bulldog is the University's mascot. These charms are still on the original colorful strings...bound with a string which which is why they're all huddled together...just as they were made. Each charm measures 1 1/4 inches across by 1 inch high. They're all in minty condition...just as we found them over 40 years ago (when we first started in business)... warehoused by the original importer.
