Vintage Bakelite Mah Jong Set Game 152 Tiles in Case

This great old Mah Jong game set is from the 1940s. It's complete with...152 Bakelite tiles, 5 maroon marbled Bakelite racks, 1 pair of dice, and a Bakelite bettor wheel...all in a sturdy faux gator leatherette carrying case. Among the 152 tiles are some with decorative flowers or birds. A few tiles are appliqued to indicate the blanks or Jokers. The green leatherette case has some expected age scuffs/wear/tear. The metal parts are age discolored/ tarnished. One rack has a broken end stop piece which has no effect on using the rack. The handle is sturdy and locks still work fine though there is no key. Case measures 19 3/4 by 9 by 3 1/2 inches. All the tiles are a deep butterscotch color with etched and hand-painted characters/numbers. A few show minor wear to the colors but they're overall in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Tiles measure 1 1/4 by 7/8 by 1/2 inch.
