Silver plate 'Sheraton' pattern Cocktail - Seafood Fork made by Community / Oneida is about 6 1/2 inches long. This pattern was first made in 1910. Head of fork has a spot on front side where plating is off and quite a bit of wear on back.

These tea towels are truly amazing examples several forms of handiwork - hand applique, drawn threadwork and fine embroidery.
Everything is done by hand except three side are hemmed by machine using very fine stitches. The fourth side was hemmed by hand using a tiny blanket stitch to bind the appliqued colored material to the background.
Laundered, line dried, lightly starched the old fashioned way, dampened and ironed...

This blue tea towel is a wonderful example of fine handwork. It is scalloped and finished by hand with a fine blanket stitch on both ends with machine-stitched hem on sides. Detailed cutwork of a flower and leaves, and fine embroidery on one end. Could also be used as a dresser scarf.

This is a book club edition of Marguerite De Angeli's book 'Black Fox of Lorne' published in 1956 by Doubleday. The book is in good condition with no marks or tears, only a slight yellowing on edges. Dust jacket is in poor condition - see photos.
