Appliqued Tea Towels w/ Drawn Threadwork and Embroidery

These tea towels are truly amazing examples several forms of handiwork - hand applique, drawn threadwork and fine embroidery.
Everything is done by hand except three side are hemmed by machine using very fine stitches. The fourth side was hemmed by hand using a tiny blanket stitch to bind the appliqued colored material to the background.
Laundered, line dried, lightly starched the old fashioned way, dampened and ironed. Towels will arrive folded in thirds widthwise and in half lengthwise.
