Crocheted Edgings for Handkerchiefs Instruction Book
J & P Coats & Clark's Book No. 271 (The Spool Company). First Edition 1951. 'Edgings for Handkerchiefs' Fifteen-page, 10 1/2" x 7 1/2" paperback booklet full of instructions and photos of many different crocheted and hairpin lace edgings.
Inside cover reads: "Handkerchiefs -- essential accessories. We took a tip from those Victorian heroines whose wisps of cambric and lace were decorative enough to dangle at fingertip, or to drop demurely at the feet of handsome young men. We went one better, though - our handkerchiefs are not only display-worthy - they're meant to be used! The edgings in this book may be used in many other ways - the finer edgings adapt themselves to guest towels, organdie aprons and blouses; the wider edgings to linen place mats, doilies and pillow cases."
Booklet was folded down the center and cover is separated from the rest of the booklet, but all pages are intact and for the most part in good condition.
Media mail postage is included in price. If other form of shipping is desired, please email with preference and zip code.
