Shawnee Embossed Laurel Blue Leaves Teapot 1945 Wedding

This is a wonderful Estate Sale find, a Shawnee Embossed Laurel Blue Leaves Teapot marked as a 1945 Wedding Gift. It has the standard blue leaves, plus gold trim and Pink rose bouquets. There is a very old piece of masking tape on the bottom with the following handwritten memo, “Wedding Gift 1945 from Grandmother & Grandfather Grater” (Or it could be Groter). It appears to be in Excellent near mint condition, I see NO wear, chips or cracks. Inside the rim where the lid sets does need a good cleaning, but I do not want to wet it for fear of damaging the taped memo on the the bottom. The colors are great. It stands approximately 7” to the top of lid finial. View pictures closely, I try to accurately photograph the item to give you a good visual of the condition.
