Circa 1966 , Williamsburg ART OF COOKERY or, Acomplifb'd Gentlewoman's COMPANION.
This smallish volume was published in 1966 --fifteenth printing since 1938....but the real first book of recipes was original to 1742 !!
The recipes are written in Olde' English Style...writing and has the f's in place of the s's and other of those old well known tranferal of -old and modern day letters in english !
About 7 inches long and 4 1/4 inches across.

Brass electrified oil lamp.
Actual date of manufacture and electrify-ment unknown !
Good shiny brass make up this really nice perhaps student lamp or small desk lamp lighting fixture.
Fixture is 15 1/2 inches tall.
Circle loop on top for handling of this lamp probably goes back to the days when it was movable as a oil lamp.
Two light fixture places 8 1/2 inches across take standard medium base bulbs.

Actual age is unknown. I can account for about 5 years of its life and I was a adopted owner ---so I am thinking about 10 years old or more. This line is no longer being done by Joan Baker and is considered a collectible.
