Vintage Irish Blackhtorn Walking Stick. Brown color finish. 34 Inches long Small end 2 1/2 inches circumference Top 3 3/4 inches circumference Top of handle 1 inch. Old but true age unknown--at least 50 years old but most likely 10 or more older, These two pockets are made by an American Company SYROCOWOOD which was located in New Jersey! I believe the wood to be walnut....but it almost appears ebonized.I am sure thats because of the age. I believe this piece may have been made to display small tea cups and saucers...but I also know it held matches for the stoves.
