Vintage Meerschaum Pipe.

Nicely carved Japanese man holding a very large fish probably a Carp. (White spots appearing in photo are flashback not physically on this piece ) This statue is made of wood....and is wonderfully carved by hand...though base may be machine cut. I am not sure of the exact wood used--but it is to a type of hard wood...and carved out of one solid piece ...

Very collectible cookie jar . Made in Japan. Older --but true age unknown This cookie jar is made to be some sort of whimsical animal--almost like a beaver. Its sweet upturned eyes and what appears to be a carrot gives a gentle humor to itself. Painted in Primary colors of yellow with reds and black and blues highlights. Ceramic composition.
