Highly sought book by Ralph Conner , a pen name for Charles William Gorden. There are several editions of this book....but I believe this is the earliest edition circa 1897. This edition of the book was printed before the use of pages for dates of publishing or Library of Congress info. Of course --this book was printed in Canada....which furthers difficulties with identification knowledge. Through my research--I believe this book was written when the author was about 37 years old...

Vintage Meerschaum pipe. Actual age unknown but one can see the soft brown coloring changes known to happen as these pipes age ! Never used for smoking--clean inside and out. Nicely carved Japanese man holding a very large fish probably a Carp. (White spots appearing in photo are flashback not physically on this piece ) This statue is made of wood....and is wonderfully carved by hand...though base may be machine cut. I am not sure of the exact wood used--but it is to a type of hard wood...and carved out of one solid piece ...

Vintage clip on earrings. These are multi colored beauties ! Each earring features 6 stones....some very large others small. Aprox. 1 1/2 inches each. Setting is closed with metal. Stones are also showing prongs Ear clips in great condition...and work fine.

This ones a beauty !! Blue as the sky covered bowl. Made in such a fashion and as beautiful to look at as to be "cut glass ". But I believe it to me manufactured. The pattern of circles and raised pyramids and biscuits and knobs on the lid...becomes --after a set of linear markings --the same pattern. Star / flower pattern on bottom. Some lines ---ohhh so similar to real cut glass on the top as well. Bowl is 7 3/4 " x 6 1/2 "...with top. A beauty !! No makers mark
