VINTAGE MEERSCHAUM PIPE-MERMAID

Vintage Meerschaum pipe. Actual age unknown but one can see the soft brown coloring changes known to happen as these pipes age ! Never used for smoking--clean inside and out. This MERMAID version is NOT of todays design. This vintage model features hand placements to the hips and thigh areas. Also the tail of this mermaid continues in design until the flippers ( feet) are almost underneath the pipe itself. This is a mini pipe 4 3/4 " long and aprox. to 1 1/4 " - 1 1/2 " across the front of the mermaids body. Could be early work of " Baysal " ---but piece is not signed. Eye catching yellow/orange pipe stem . Excellent condition !
