COOKIE JAR OLD CERAMIC JAPAN MADE

Very collectible cookie jar . Made in Japan. Older --but true age unknown This cookie jar is made to be some sort of whimsical animal--almost like a beaver. Its sweet upturned eyes and what appears to be a carrot gives a gentle humor to itself. Painted in Primary colors of yellow with reds and black and blues highlights. Ceramic composition. Stands aprox. 9 inches high. Some loss of paint Small crack on side. I have not attempted to clean this piece --but it will really sparkle once you have done so properly !
