SIGNED / FLOWERS ON BLACK LACQUER / TOILE STYLE

A little sweet pin ( or brooch )for your consideration. Done in a toile style-featuring a flower arrangement on a black background...that has then been lacquered to a shiny finish. The flower arangement done here--appears to me to be English Roses flanked by a variation of other flowers and leaves. This piece is signed: B H Pin has a early clasp appearing to be a real safety pin enclasped in the material used to make the piece. Piece is lite and feels like wood --but I cannot say positively wood or resin of some sort. Because of these questions I have on manufacture date I suggest only pre-1980's.
