I am really not sure what you would call this. I have searched and couldn't find anything like it on the Internet or in any antique stores. My antique dealer friend didn't know what to call it either. Maybe you will look at it and realize what it is and let me know! It features a round hole, it has a slot where any excess ink would flow down to the hole where the ink is stored. It also has two grooves along the side that I think are meant to hold extra nibs.
