The more I look at this.. the older it appears! Made of hand carved wood and has glass eyes. Both sides are done and there is a hole in the bottom which leads me to believe it was to a weathervane. Measures 9" tall and is 15" long and is just 1 3/4" thick. Very nice condition. Would look great in any country decor, and would fit nicely because of the thickness. It would even fit nicely in a window sill or garden box. Not sure of the age at all!!
A wonderful colorful teapot for your country kitchen. Made of hand painted glazed ceramic. This full size tea pot measures 7 1/2" tall and is in perfect condition. A little yellow chick sits on top of Mother hen's back and serves as the finial for the lid. No makers marks.
This little figural chicken is either a hen or rooster, I can't tell. Made of solid clear glass with an open bottom like an old candy container. It does have a small hole in the back that would support a small taper candle. Measures 4 1/4" tall. Perfet condition with no damages.
Nice large hand painted rooster salt and pepper shakers are made of ceramic and measure 4 3/4" tall. They are in pristine condition and have their plastic stoppers. I don't believe they have ever been used. (I have the matching cookie jar listed also). Made by CIC Coco Dowley. A cute chick sits on white part of an egg. Actually he looks like the yolk! Made of ceramic by Scott's of Wisconsin. Measures 3 1/4" tall. Plastic stoppers, and both pieces are in excellent condition.
Unusual style but very cute! These little porcelain chickens have red combs against a stark white glazed porcelain body. They measure just 3" tall and have their plastic stoppers. Perfect condition. Maybe these chickens are Amish, they have no faces!! :)
These little egg shaped chicks each sit in a half eggshell, and are removeable. The holes are the eyes and mouth. They measure 2 1/2" tall. Made of ceramic with their original stoppers. These are very cute and would make a great addition to your salt and pepper shaker collection, or to your chicken collection.
Unusual rooster figurine is hand blown with yellow and brown coloring with lots of copper color mica flakes. He is in perfect condition and measures almost 9" tall. He stands on a clear base. No marks or signatures that I can see. Excellent condition.
Amazing bisque fighting rooster figurine by Lefton. He is beautifully painted and detailed with open tail feathers. Marked with the gold stamped lefton mark, Fighting Rooster, KW854B. Measures 8" tall to the tip of his tallest tail feather. He is in perfect condition!! A wonderful addition to your chicken collection.
This little hand painted hen on a nest is real cute. The nesting box holds the two ceramic eggs which are the salt and pepper shakers. Says farm fresh eggs, and they are the size of real eggs. Unfortunately one of the egss are cracked badly, and you will need to replace it later. Rubber stoppers. Wood box is 6" tall to the tip of the hens head.
