The art of Chokin is metal engravings from Japan that are created by the ancient art of Chokin. This is a American Greetings Gigi Collectors Plate. I believe McCoy made this series. It Says "Smile the world is a wonderful place". It measures 10.25" in diameter and is in excellent condition, no chips or nicks.

Unusual plate, or shallow bowl, made in Japan (Back has Oriental writing). Measures 7" in diameter, six sides and is 1" deep. Forest design with some gold tree top accents. Made of thick glazed porcelain. Perfect condition. All-over crazed effect.

A great plate all hand decorated from Greece with the legendary Cerberus. Measures 6" in diameter. According to Greek Mythology, KERBEROS (or Cerberus) was the gigantic hound which guarded the gates of Haides. He was posted to prevent ghosts of the dead from leaving the underworld. Perfect condition, with no chips or cracks. Back says "Hand Made by Neofitoy Keramik Fauraki-Rodos". Hole in back to insert string for hanging plate.
