This is a vintage souvenir plate from the Vatican. It shows Pope Pius XII in the Sedia Garden, carried in the plaza in front of St. Peters Basilica. It is a work of art by the artist, A. Giordani. It measures 10 inches in diameter and is ringed with 22k gold. The rim has a beautiful irridescent lustre ware finish.
