This wonderful vintage cookie jar would go well with any of your poppy pattern items. Abundant golden and red California poppies adorn this heavy glazed ceramic jar. Measures 11" tall. Wonderful condition with the exception of one big chip on the lid that has not been repaired well. Well worth the restoration because this is a hard cookie jar to find. Chip could be turned toward the back if you didn't want it noticeable till you fixed it. See photos of the chip

Old glazed pottery cookie jar, The Formal pig, all decked out in his formal attire. The bottom is perfect but the head has been repaired. The repair is so good it is hard to see, as it looks like a faint hairline crack, and it is on the backside of the head. This cookie jar is one of the rarer ones and books for 550.00 and higher.
