Cute cookie jar or a nice container for storing a variety of snacks or treats. This is tilted like the old candy store counter jars. Could also sit upright instead of at an angle. Made entirely of glazed ceramic. The bears head is the lid and it has a freshness gasket to make a nice seal. He wears a sailor hat and red tie. Perfect condition. Measures 7 1/2" tall.
Vintage ceramic cookie jar. He is a blushing teddy bear. Some of the cold paint is flaked and has been washed away on his stitches. A very small chip on the back of his neck that is not very noticeable.

A wonderful shabby/country crock cookie jar with a rose pattern. Made by Red Wing Pottery but unmarked. They refer to this as a fruit much jar. Made of heavy crockery with and painted roses on the front. Lots of the paint is worn, but this seems to add a great sense of character to the old jar. Vintage California Originals cookie jar cylinder handmade Compton, California. Original sticker inside the jar, Measures just over 8 1/2" tall plus the knob on the lid. Unique imprinted apple design with leaves. The apple and leaves are unique that they have a very glossy varigated blue/green coloring against the faux wood look background. Made and marked Twin Winton USA. I am listing this mainly for the cookie jar bottom. The bottom is perfect but the top has a large chip on the corner of the roof as shown in photo. It also has been repaired on the chimney area. This is adorable without the top just as a boot, for other uses. If you don' t wamt the top, let me know, and shipping will be less without it.
