Sweet farmers wife cookie jar is made of hand painted ceramic. She is dressed in a long dress with apron. She holds a bunch of wheat and has an apron full of baker's tools. She measures 10 1/2" tall. Made in china. Perfect condition except for a hairline crack under the glaze that was done before firing on the back part of the head.It is not noticeable however unless very closely inspected. This is an adorable cookie jar for that country kitchen

This old heavy cookie jar resembles an old moonshine jug, including the real cork in the top. Says Cookie Jug on the front. This may be a McCoy cookie jar, I'm not sure, but it is an older solid jar. Measures 10" tall. Bottom is in excellent condition, but the top section has a couple of chips on the inner rim of the lid. They can't be seen when the lid is on the jar. This reflects the low price.
