Beautiful vintage LE Smith Moon & Stars Sugar Canister. This amberina/red canister stands about 9 1/4" with the lid and is in excellent condition. From Russia, this is plate #1 in a series of 8 in the legends of the Snowmaiden series. THis one titled "The Snowmaiden, Snegurochka. Beautiful plate finely detailed and trimmed with real gold. Another hard to find piece to Nasco Japan "Rosevine pattern. This is the large 9 1/4"(not including handles) diameter covered casserole dish. Rosevine is a pretty handpainted rose chinz (large pattern) with a soft watercolor effect. Unfortunately the bottom has a couple of flaws.
