The mark on the bottom of the Dish is, "The Art of Chokin” is described, “Metal engravings from Japan are created by the ancient art of Chokin. Gilded with gold and silver, the engravings were originally created to decorate the armament of the SAMURAI warriors”...

This is a most enormous trinket box. Made of black glazed ceramic with an unglazed ceramic gypsy moth on the top. This has the butterfly or moth shape and is 4 3/4" tall by 6" x 7 3/4" diameter. Inside is a painted gold color. There are no chips or cracks and is in excellent condition. This was purchased at a nature conservatory so looks very realistic. Wire legs and filament antennae. This is a really unique piece.

Porcelain covered egg box is decorated with tiny pastel florals on the top edge with a gold edge trim. Measures 2 1/4" tall. Measures 2 5/8" x 3 1/2" oval egg shape. No makers mark but is in perfect condition. and nicely made. A great Easter gift to fill with surprizes. Sorry about the glare from the flash.
