Catalog: Pottery and Stoneware

I know NOTHING about this wonderful little vaseother than it is a Greek Corinthian style done in the black-figured technique. One side is the bust of a person, and on the other side is a leaping dolphin. Measures just 4" tall and is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. Actually looks thousands of years old, but has a lead tag that states EXACT COPY. The hole at the top is small so was probably for special oils or something. A wonderful piece.

Beautiful console bowl with petals like a tulip or lotus, marked USA CAMARK and a number (which I can not make out with the glaze fill). Measures 8.5 x 11. Perfect condition. Is 3.5 in deep at the tallest point. A beautiful lavender semi-matte glaze, and is in excellent condition with no damages at all.

Very large glazed pottery console bowl or planter. It has a nice light, medium, to dark brown drip glaze. Marked (J5) hard to read(?), USA. It has a petal or shell pattern like that on a pine cone or acorn. Measures Approx 10" in diameter and is 5" deep. I thought it may be McCoy or Shawnee, but would like to know who made it for sure. Excellent condition with no damages.

Wonderful Eames era fifties moderne bowl stamped Madeline Originals. Madeline Johnson and her husband began the company in 1948.She had previously been a Cleminsons decorator.For 10 years she marked her wares as Madeline Ceramics. She then changed her name because it sounded better. This great shallow bowl with stripes design measures 14 1/2" x 10 1/4". wonderful condition, but there is a fleck of glaze off the underside edge. Very very tiny. This is a wonderful piece!

Capodimonte Covered Compote or Candy Dish. This Compote stands 8 1/2" tall to the top of the figure on the lid, it is 6 5/8" wide, its in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.

VINTAGE MINERAL WATER JUG GERMANY Wonderful Mineral Water Jug made in Germany. It is marked on the front Birresborn Mineral Wasser with an elephant logo circa 1879-1900. This is a wonderful clay jug hand turned you can see. No major chips or cracks just the minor chips and wear on the bottom from use. Great display piece or use and enjoy. Stands 11-5/8" tall and is 3-1/4" in diameter.

Three piece Royal Haeger Flower-Ware console set, consisting of a large center bowl and two candleholders in a medium matte green. The candle holders both have the original HAEGER FLOWER-WARE stickers, and are 3" tall, both being perfect. The center bowl has Royal Haegar RG-144 in raised lettering on the bottom. Bowl is 5 1/4" tall and top opening is 6 1/2" x 11 1/2", with one tiny chip on one of the top corners. It is very small and could be touched up easily...

This is a wonderfully unusual cup and saucer.Actually it is English pottery.The scene is of a coach with four horses full of men, with the English countryside being in the background.It says "Dickens Days" under the picture. The border of the saucer and the outer side of the cup is a purple color lustre. But it has a bubbly drip appearance. It's really pretty. Nice condition.Some crazing, but this definately old.No chips cracks or repairs. The saucer measures 5 9/16" diameter...

The cutest pottery girl planter, signed "Hazel" on the bottom. This may be Shawnee or Hull, not sure. Nice detailing, and the sweetest face. She is holding two baskets which are for the plants. She measures 6 1/2" tall and is in pristine condition. She would make a lovely gift. Email for more photos.

Nice bear shape planter by Royal Copley. He has a sucker in his hand. Made of heavy glazed china. Measures 8" tall and is in perfect condition!

This little lady appears to sit on a bench with a wall in the back, which is the planter part of the vase. She is hand painted, glazed pottery and marked Florence ceramics, Pasadena, California. She is part of the Garden girl series, She wears a cream dress with little blue flowers. She is in perfect condition! She measures 5 1/2" tall.

An old glazed stoneware cookie jar in the popular Marcrest daisy and dot pattern. Cookie jar measures 10" tall and has COOKIES written in script on the front. Excellent condition. Very heavy. The entire family of cows made by Walker Pottery. The bull, cow and calf. The only flaw on the whole set is a chip on the backside of the calf's ear.

Wonderful vintage lady fiurine is by Ynez, and was featured in the 1947 catalog called Giftwares. This was one of the Ynez Children of the year. The figurine has her typical painted eyes and bow and hair curl formation. It has Jennifer incised or scratched into the ceramic on the bottom, along with the letter X. She measures 6 3/8" tall and is in perfect condition other than the end is chipped off her sash on the back. She wears a soft green & white dress and carries a basketfull of shamrocks...

THis grand vase is vintage Mexican pottery an very nicely finished. Gark green with a striking motif of flowers and scrolls with bands. Measures 11 3/4" tall/. Hard to believe a piece of this quality is not signed. No chips or cracks, just the typical gentle crazing inside and out on a piece of this age. A keen collector with an eye for this vintage Mexico pottery will be scooping up quite a good bargain on this lovely piece.

Unique, and totally 50's~ Eames era California Pottery vase. Shallow top but center goes deep into the pedestal. Interesting, beautiful blue and grey psycadilly drip glaze. There is a slight sheen glaze with contrats with the glossy part of the glaze. Measures 4" tall and has a top diameter of 6 1/2".Cool futuristic three leg tripod base. Perfect condition with no chips or cracks. The maker is on the bottom but filled with glaze I can make out F Calif but the words preceding these are a blurr...

A wonderful shabby/country crock cookie jar with a rose pattern. Made by Red Wing Pottery but unmarked. They refer to this as a fruit much jar. Made of heavy crockery with and painted roses on the front. Lots of the paint is worn, but this seems to add a great sense of character to the old jar. Measures 7 1/2" tall to the tip of the knob on the lid. No cracks or chips or damages. Technically there is one chip on the bottom, but it is under the glaze from when it was originally made...

Awesome whale figurine is made from stoneware and has a great bluish gray speckled glaze. Measures 12" long and is about 5 1/2" tall. No damages. Stamped into the clay DEWEY. Detailed eyes, fins and blow-hole. This is such a great piece to add to your ocean themed collection.
