This impeccably detailed and meticulously handpainted bird is 5 1/2" tall and almost 7" wide. It was created in the Seto area of Japan which is a place where the tradition of exceptional porcelain dates back 800 years to the Kamakura Period. This "Seto-Mano" porcelain is renowned for its outstanding quality and beauty. Pristine condition.

Made of bisque porcelain and hand painted in realistic hues, this runner of roads was created by the Lefton China company between 1946 and 1950. It stands 4 1/2" to the tip of its crest, is 9" in length, and is appropriately marked on the bottom along with its original foil label.This is one of two poses Lefton made in the roadrunner. The Roadrunner is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and is ready to run! BEEP BEEP!!
