A great old plate in the Quimper style, but just singed France on the back. It depicts a quaker man standing between two trees. Looks like a cup plate or saucer, as it has a gentle well. Measures 5 1/4" in diameter,and is hand decorated. No chips or cracks.
Earlier piece of the New Clairvaux pieces by Father Anthony, dated 1987. Beautiful blue glaze and is well marked and in pristine condition. Measures 4" tall. Father Anthony, one of the monks of the cistercian monastery, specialises in the production of this pottery. Marked Hull Ovenproof USA, This has the mirror brown drip edge. There is however 2 small chips on the edge of the lip, which is not so noticeable because of the coloring of the drip.Look closely and you can see in the photo. Measures 4 5/8" tall and would be great for syrup or cream.

Oval wall hanging with aladys bust. Green trim. Measures 3 3/8" x 4 1/8". Holes with original ribbon for hanging. It has the early mark, a lower case b inside a C for Betty Cleminson. Perfect condition other than some crazing which is normal for this age and type of pottery.
